If you are a good planner and organizer, you are very fortunate. It has never been my thing. Even the content of this newsletter is written the same day that it is sent. Except for a few ideas jotted down or an article I’ve written or reviewed, I’ve often no idea what I’ll write about until then. This month is no exception.
This must change. To be successful in most businesses requires good planning and organizational skills and more so with an internet business. There are too many distractions. What begins as a single mouse click can easily lead to the needless waste of your valuable time.
The next time you click on a link or visit a site, ask yourself this. Why? Keep in mind that ‘why’ is probably the biggest short word in the English language and will challenge those who have an answer for everything.
The course I talked about last month looked very simple and straightforward. But I looked at it through the eyes of someone else. For good organizers the lessons are very simple and easy to follow but for me it was a big bad wolf in a grandma disguise.
I took the lessons seriously and accepted that it wasn’t a course to be done on a whim and later forgotten about. After only a few lessons, there were some noticeable improvements. Things were getting done and I was becoming a better organizer. Even my wife Elaine commented on this, although she was a bit suspect of the delegation tasks. She never thought of herself as a mechanic.
Unfortunately it wasn’t until lesson 16 that I found that I had carried out the daily praxes 16 days too early! Do you think I was pleased? With only 2 more lessons of this 18 lesson course left, you may think so but I wasn’t.
On day 16, I stopped. Although I completed the 2 remaining lessons, the realization fully hit home that to be effective, the methods used must become an integrated part of daily life. Having lived most my life without reins and having a very spontaneous nature makes this particularly difficult.
There are some tough decisions ahead but I will let you know next month on the outcome. I’ll also tell you where you can take the course. It may be the right course for you. It’s also free but don’t let the low price tag put you off. I honestly believe it will work if you have the right mindset or you are willing to change. That is the real price.
No new content has been added this month. Most of my attention has been given to other sites that are begging for input or a quick execution. There’s now only one site left on death row but several others are desperate to hit the streets and earn their keep.
This month I found a use for MS Publisher and created a brochure for a rental property. The nice spin off is that the brochure is easily generated into a web publication and can be incorporated into a new website planned for May.
The following additions have been added to the members’ area.
404 Self Improvement Tips
To access the members’ area http://www.ebook-site.com/members.html this month, the password is happy
Note for new subscribers: Passwords are case sensitive and will be changed monthly or immediately before a newsletter mailing. This is to ensure that only valid subscribers have access to this area.
Note for Webmasters
There are definite parallels to the Article Spam that flooded the net in 2005 because of the misuse of PLR articles and article submission software. With new search engine algorithms in the lab, there could be a purge later this year of the virulent ready made AdSense sites.

A short month deserves a short issue and the TV drama prison break starts soon.
